to the Kingdom of Bahrain

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte embarks on a three-day State Visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from April 12-14, 2017 to renew the ties and deepening friendship between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is the second leg of the President’s visit to the Middle East and his first visit to Bahrain, one of the most progressive nations in the Arab region, as Chief Executive.
He is set to be accorded with a welcome ceremony befitting a head of state and have a bilateral meeting with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The President’s visit also aims to boost trade relations between the two nations with a scheduled visit to Capital Club.
President Duterte will also personally meet with the Filipinos working and residing in Bahrain.
