President Benigno S. Aquino III welcomed His Highness Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani  of the State of Qatar.

In their meeting, the two leaders witnessed the signing of four agreements focusing on  tourism, sharing of best legal practices, agriculture and fisheries, and investments.

This is the first visit of Qatar’s ruler to the Philippines since its ties 31 years ago.
