President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided a situation briefing to discuss the aftermath of Typhoon ‘Ulysses’ (international name: ‘Vamco’) in the Bicol Region during his visit to Pili, Camarines Sur.
In his message, the Chief Executive reassured the Bicolanos that the government is on top of the situation, and guaranteed that the administration is working to provide assistance in the form of shelters, relief goods, financial aid and post-disaster counselling.
The Bicol Region is still recovering from the onslaught brought by Typhoon ‘Quinta’ (international name: ‘Molave’) and Super Typhoon ‘Rolly’ (international name: ‘Goni’) in recent weeks when Typhoon Ulysses battered the region on November 11, 2020. As of the moment, continuous relief and rehabilitation efforts are being undertaken to cater to the needs of those affected in the region.
