President Aquino and 19 other APEC leaders were welcomed by People’s Republic of China President Xi Jinping and his wife, singer Peng Liyuan. A photo opportunity soon followed with both leaders shaking hands.

Before the APEC 2014 concludes, China will pass the APEC Chairmanship to the Philippines to host the APEC Summit 2015.
