President Rodrigo Roa Duterte welcomed the new resident Ambassadors-Designate of Pakistan and Japan during their presentation of credentials at the Malacañan Palace.

Ambassador Designate of Pakistan to the Philippines, H.E. Aman Rashid, was accompanied in the meeting by his spouse, Mme. Shamiala Aman, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Deputy Head of Mission Saadia Altaf Qazi, and other key officials of the Embassy.

On the other hand, Ambassador-Designate of Japan to the Philippines, H.E. Koji Haneda, was also joined by his spouse, Mme. Ihoko Haneda, Embassy of Japan Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission Takehiro Kano, and other key members of the Japanese Embassy in the Philippines.

The President was joined in the event by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Manuel Teehankee, DFA Office of Asia and Pacific Affairs (ASPAC) Executive Director Emilio Fernandez, and other high-ranking government officials.
