President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. welcomed the Non-Resident Ambassadors to the Philippines of the Republic of Djibouti, Republic of Mauritius and Republic of Sudan as they presented their letter of credence in a ceremony at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

Ambassador Ibrahim Bileh Doualeh of the Republic of Djibouti conveyed his warm regards to the Philippines, highlighting the country’s hospitality and extending his best wishes for the nation’s prosperity. He emphasized the significant role of Filipino seamen and the potential for enhanced business relations between Djibouti and the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Jagdishwar Goburdhun of the Republic of Mauritius expressed happiness and underscored the desire to foster the best of relations between Mauritius and the Philippines.

Ambassador Hassan Abdel Salam Omer of the Republic of Sudan showed his gratitude for the great honor and affirmed his commitment to the continued progress of bilateral ties. He pledged to exert efforts to fulfill his diplomatic mission effectively.

In response, President Marcos Jr. conveyed his pleasure in officially welcoming the Ambassadors and expressed his commitment to nurturing the enduring friendship between their respective nations and the Philippines. He reiterated the importance of exploring partnerships that would contribute to the mutual growth and prosperity of all countries involved.
