President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. receives Ambassador Makawadee Sumitmor of the Kingdom of Thailand and Ambassador Meshari Yousef Muhammad Alnibari of the State of Kuwait as they formally present their Letters of Credence at Malacañan Palace on June 10, 2025.

In her brief message to the President, Thai Ambassador Sumitmor states that she will do her utmost to ensure even closer relations and cooperation between Thailand and the Philippines, benefiting both countries and their peoples.

Following the Thai envoy, Ambassador Alnibari of Kuwait likewise conveys his full commitment to further strengthen cooperation between his country and the Philippines.

The Philippines established diplomatic relations with Thailand in 1949 and Kuwait in 1979.
