President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, together with his fellow Leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), participates in the Plenary Session of the 37th ASEAN Summit via virtual convention on November 12, 2020.

The ASEAN Leaders are expected to share views regarding several matters on regional and international concerns, including the outcome of the Mid-Term Review of the Master Plan on ASEAN Community 2025 and the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework, as well as the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and global response to the health crisis.

The 37th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits is hosted by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and centers on the theme, ‘Cohesive and Responsive ASEAN.’
