President Rodrigo Roa Duterte engages in a discussion with the business sector and some conglomerates of the Russian Federation during the Philippines – Russia Business Forum in the capital city of Moscow on October 4, 2019.

Earlier this day, several business agreements were signed that focus mainly on promoting trade, investment opportunities, and economic linkages between the Philippines and Russia. With the Philippines – Russia Business Forum, great opportunities shall open for Filipino and Russian businessmen to further enhance their networks for a stronger cooperation.

During President Duterte’s bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the latter pointed out that the Philippines is “Russia’s important partner in Asia” and pledged to provide assistance for the development of the two nations’ business connections.

President Duterte, on the other hand, assures that the Philippines remains committed in building a robust and comprehensive partnership with the Russian Federation.
