The Chancery of the Philippine Embassy is located along Sukhumvit Road, between Phrom Pong and Thonglor Bangkok Transit System (BTS) stations. In 1963, the Philippine government acquired the property, which measures approximately 8,000 square meters.
Its offices include the Consular Section (for passports, civil registration, visas, notarial and other consular services); Assistance to Nationals (ATN) Section (for Filipinos in distress); Political, Economic, Multilateral, Cultural Section; and Administrative Section; Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché (DAFA); Office of the Special Agriculture Representative (OSAR); and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC).
Along the property’s right side runs Soi Philippines (Sukhumvit Soi 30/1), which was inaugurated on June 12 1998 by then Ambassador Reynaldo Arcilla, Thai Acting Foreign Minister Sukhumband Paribatra, and Bangkok Governor Bhichit Rattakul in commemoration of the Philippine Centennial.
