President Benigno S. Aquino III spent roughly 45 minutes from waiting in queue to finally casting his vote at the Central Azucarera de Tarlac Elementary School in Tarlac City, Tarlac.
Arriving at 9:30 am at his designated precinct 175-A together with his sisters Pinky Aquino-Abellada, Viel Aquino-Cruz and their spouses, the President, after briefly checking his precinct number, waited in queue for 30 minutes outside of the Precinct Cluster 73. Flanking him in line were his brothers-in-law Manolo Abellada to his left and Eldon Cruz to his right.
The President took 10 minutes going through his entire ballot form before feeding his ballot to the Vote Counting Machine (VCM) and had his index finger inked. He diligently reviewed the voting receipt, folding them twice, before he deposited his receipt to the receptacle.
Before leaving the precinct, members of the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) posed for a photo opportunity with the President.
Also taking the opportunity to meet the President was Domingo Simon, 81 years old, who stopped the President on his way out to thank him personally for assisting him in acquiring his SSS pension last year.
