President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. attended the formal opening of the World Economic Forum (WEF) where President Alain Berset of Switzerland, who recently assumed office for the second time as President of the Swiss Confederation for 2023, delivered his opening speech at the Davos Congress Centre in Davos, Switzerland.

The Chief Executive’s attendance in the four-day Forum is upon the invitation of Professor Klaus Schwab, WEF Founder and Executive Chairman.

Later within the day, President Marcos Jr. is participating in a dialogue where he is set to advance the significant economic gains in the Philippines as well as promote the nation as an investment destination ready to complement regional and global expansion plans of both foreign and Philippine-based enterprises.
