President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) held at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.

In his remarks, the President assured all the local government officials present that the provision of funds in support of their respective units would be given equally, most especially for the development of infrastructure projects.

He also discussed the recent developments in the administration’s peace and order efforts, particularly the campaign against illegal drugs and corruption.
