President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administered the mass oath-taking of the newly elected officers of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) and Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) held at the Reception Hall in Malacañan Palace.

Addressing all the local government officials present, the Chief Executive gave his assurance that the national government’s provision of funds in support of their respective communities shall be equally divided.

He also gave updates on the administration’s peace and order efforts, and reiterated his stance to end corruption and the trade of illegal drugs in the country.
