President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office to Rafael Consing Jr. as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC) in a ceremony at the Study Room, Malacañan Palace.

The Maharlika Investment Corporation, established by Republic Act (RA) No. 11954, is the key entity managing the Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF). Its focus is on strategic investments to maximize returns (ROIs), aligning with the government’s objectives of fostering job creation, accelerating poverty reduction and sustaining economic growth.

Currently, Mr. Consing Jr. also serves as the Executive Director of the Office of the Presidential Adviser for Investment & Economic Affairs (OPAIEA), where he oversees daily operations and drives timely project delivery to advance the President’s economic agenda.
