President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office to Kathryna Yu-Pimentel in a ceremony at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

Ms. Pimentel, the wife of Senator Koko Pimentel, has been designated as the Special Envoy of the President to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
