President’s Hall, Malacañan Palace

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. administered the oath-taking of the newly elected Officers of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines (LVGP) in a ceremony at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace.
In his speech, the Chief Executive stressed the crucial role of coordination and cooperation between the national government and local governments to synergize action plans and programs so that resources in the country would be maximized to its fullest potential.
Laguna Vice Governor Katherine Agapay (National President), Aklan Vice Governor Reynaldo Quimpo (Chairman of the Board) and Ilocos Norte Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos (Executive Vice President) comprised the LVGP Officers who took their oath.
The LVGP is composed of Vice Governors from 81 provinces and is one of the local government unit (LGU)-based organizations that is a member of the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP), the umbrella organization of all LGUs and locally elected government officials.
