President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administered the oath-taking of newly appointed Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Benjamin ‘Benhur’ Abalos, Jr. in a ceremony at the Reception Hall in Malacañan Palace.

MMDA Chairman Abalos served as Mayor of Mandaluyong City from 1998-2004 and from 2007-2016. He also served as Representative of Mandaluyong City from 2004-2007.
