President Rodrigo Roa Duterte listened to the security briefing presented by the key officers from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as he presided a command conference at the Department of Education Moises Padilla District Office in Negros Occidental.

Among the topics discussed in the command conference included the security measures implemented by the law enforcement agencies to ensure a peaceful midterm election on May 13 and the prevention of election-related violence incidences in the area.
