President Benigno S. Aquino III, the Robredo family, members of the Cabinet and other government officials and staff offered a necrological mass for Sec. Jesse Robredo, whose remains lie at the Palace’s Kalayaan Hall. The mass was officiated by Fr. Ramon T. Villarin, SJ, President of the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU).

After the mass, the public viewing of the remains of the late Secretary was opened past eight in the evening.
