PSG Compound, Malacañang Park

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided over a National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) briefing at the Presidential Security Group Compound in Malacañang Park.

NDRRMC Executive Director Ricardo Jalad gave the President a report on the agency’s assessment on the southwest monsoon (habagat) that affected different parts of the country over the weekend. He also discussed the government measures in monitoring the weather, providing nationwide updates and responding to families and individuals in need of immediate assistance.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Social Welfare and Development Secretary Judy Taguiwalo were also present during the briefing.
