President Rodrigo Roa Duterte hosted a merienda cena in honor of Japan’s Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida who is currently in the Philippines for a three-day official visit.

Present during the merienda cena are Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr., Finance (DOF) Secretary Carlos Dominguez, National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia, Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, and Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Martin Andanar.

Minister Kishida was accompanied by Japan’s Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhide Ishikawa, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department Director General Kazuya Nashida, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MOFA) Second Southeast Asia Division Director Hirotaka Matsuo.
