President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. committed to providing adequate funds to support the nation’s irrigation programs in a meeting with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) at Malacañan Palace.

The President emphasized the importance of constructing large dams not only for irrigation but for other purposes.

The meeting also discussed the NIA’s strategic plans and projects for 2025 that aim to enhance irrigation efficiency, ensure continuous operation of existing irrigation service areas and maintain current irrigated lands.
