President Rodrigo Roa Duterte met with Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Kazuhide Ishikawa in Malacañan Palace.

The President was accompanied in the meeting by Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Perfecto Yasay, Jr., Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Leah Basinang-Ruiz, and DFA Assistant Secretary Millicent Cruz.

Ambassador Ishikawa was joined by Deputy Chief of Mission Atsushi Ueno and Third Secretary Akira Kawada.
