President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with Singapore’s former Prime Minister and current Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the St. Regis Hotel in Singapore.

During their meeting, the President expressed his appreciation for the invitation to deliver the keynote address at the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue 2024, marking the opening of the 21st Asia Security Summit.

President Marcos Jr.’s working visit is part of the high-level exchanges between the Philippines and Singapore. This year also commemorates the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
