President Benigno S. Aquino III joined local leaders and the community in a meeting in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo right after his visit to the town of Passi.
Speaking the local tongue, President Aquino thanked the residents of Sta. Barbara for their support in his campaign to lead the nation towards a straight path as he cited several reforms being done by the administration to push the country’s development.
The Metro Iloilo Radial Road has a project cost of P371 million and was completed in February this year while the Iloilo Circumferential Road costs P1.615 million and is set to be finished in December 2014.
The President was also joined by Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas, Transportation and Communications Secretary Joseph Emilio ‘Jun’ Abaya, and Senator Franklin Drilon with the local and senatorial Liberal Party candidates.
