President Benigno S. Aquino III faced the Kapampangan community in Clark City, Pampanga, where he highlighted the province’s development in terms of infrastructure, social welfare, health services, education, and skills training.

Speaking before the members of the Regional Liga ng mga Barangay of Central Luzon, the President showed his contentment on the transformation that is very evident in Pampanga since he started office.

To start with, he reported that PhP 16.94 billion has been allotted for infrastructures in Pampanga, compared to the PhP 9.41 billion from 2005 up to 2010. These include flood control projects and airport terminals.

Likewise, he reiterated that the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) will continue to help the Kapampangans in need. To date, 51,374 households already benefitted from the 4Ps, which is equivalent to 7.7 million Filipinos out of the poverty line.
