President Rodrigo Roa Duterte met with the business executives of China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) International led by its chairman, Mr. Chen Xiaohua, at the Music Room of Malacañan Palace.

CGGC International is a large transnational corporation based in China. It is a leader in innovative engineering construction technologies and covers the following works – water conservancy, hydropower, thermal power, nuclear power, wind power, electromechanical installation, power transmission and transformation, highways, railways, bridges, municipal works, airports, ports, waterways, the design, construction of and investment in industrial and civil buildings, real estate development, cement production and civil explosives, machine manufacturing, and shipbuilding.

In recent years, CGGC has increased its overseas operations to more than 100 countries and is included in the top 100 out of 250 biggest international contractors in the world.
