Continuing the ‘Pagbibigay Dangal: A Heroes’ Welcome Celebration for the Philippines’ Paris 2024 Olympians,’ President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received the remaining Filipino athletes who competed at the recent Paris 2024 Olympics in a ceremony at the Malacañan Palace.

Each of the athletes received cash incentives worth PhP2 million from the Office of the President (OP) and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in recognition of their exemplary performance and dedication to the international sporting event.

Moreover, President Marcos Jr. awarded a Presidential Citation to the athletes, lauding the ideals of excellence, respect and friendship they have embodied during the Olympics which gave honor and pride to the entire Filipino people.

The Filipino Olympians in the ceremony consisted of Dottie Ardina (Golf), Aleah Cruz Finnegan (Gymnastics), Emma Malabuyo (Gymnastics) and Levi Ruivivar (Gymnastics).

Bianca Pagdanganan (Golf), who was not able to attend the ceremony due to her ongoing training overseas, was also acknowledged during the program.
