On the final day of his Visit to Boston in the United States, President Benigno S. Aquino III met with Massachusetts Fourth District Representative Joseph Kennedy III followed by Newton Mayor Setti Warren.

Representative Kennedy came to the Philippines six months ago and extended an invitation to President Aquino back then to visit Boston. He was elected into office on November 2012 and presently sits on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, as well as the House Committee on Science and Technology.

The President and Representative Kennedy were then joined by Newton Mayor Setti Warren, who serves on the advisory board on the United States Conference of Mayors by chairing the organization’s Community Housing and Development Committee. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
