President Benigno S. Aquino III retained Mary Grace Poe Llamanzares, adopted daughter of the late Fernando Poe Jr, as Chairperson of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) under the Office of the President during an oath-taking ceremony. She was joined by Emmanuel H. Borlaza, a known film director during 70s and 80s musical era, as Vice-Chair and 23 other members sitting in the board.
President Aquino also sworn into office the following officers: Lily Freida M. Milla as Acting Director III for Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Jo Paulo J. Espiritu as Director IV under the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Mark Dennis C. Derecho as Head Executive Assistant under (PCOO), Efren Q. Fernandez as Assistant Secretary under the Department of National Defense (DND), Constante P. Caluya as Register of Deeds III in Makati City under the Land and Registration Authority of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Ophelia A. Agawin Acting Assistant Secretary under the Department of Agriculture, Pedro J. Mendiola Jr as Acting Member for the Board of Directors to represent the Tobacco Traders/ Exporters Sector, Rogelio A. Elveña and Geoffrey DG. Gacula as acting member for the Board of Directors to represent the Tobacco Farmers Sector under the National Tobacco Administration of the department of Agriculture (DA).
