President Rodrigo Roa Duterte initiated the launching of the Comprehensive Reform and Development Agenda (CRDA) for Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and other conflict affected areas in Regions 9, 10, and 12.

During the event, the President inspected the booths of the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), and other government agencies present in the area. He also administered the awarding of programs from different government agencies under the CRDA, and the symbolic launching of the Inter-Agency Collaboration Project on Nutrition by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

In his speech, President Duterte wholeheartedly thanked the people of the ARMM for leading him towards the victory of his presidency.

“I will improve the Moro land, Mindanao,” he vowed to them.

Likewise, the President reaffirmed his dedication to implement the proposed federal government into the agenda. According to him, Mindanao, being the fruit basket of the Philippines, is seen to gain its full potential in the agro-industrial business for the next few years with the help of federal government.

He also persuaded the people in the region to help him in the peace negotiations of the government with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).

“Things will improve and I promise you that you will have your own share of your promised land,” President Duterte assured the Moro people.
