President Rodrigo Roa Duterte congratulated the graduates of the Public Safety Officers Basic Course (PSOBC) Class 2019-07 and the Public Safety Officers Advance Course (PSOAC) Class 2019-18 as he graced their joint graduation ceremony at the Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center in Davao City.

In his speech, President Duterte recalled his previous experience as a trial prosecutor and provided his inputs to the graduating public safety officers. He cited the possibility of lecturing about criminal law when his term as President ends.

The Commander-in-Chief also guaranteed the government’s support to the police force as long as they are honest and lawful in the performance of their duties as protectors of the Filipino people. He reminded them to live up to the standards of a model public servant and not to get involved in illegal activities.

During the program, the President conferred various awards to exceptional graduates for their academic achievement and outstanding leadership in the duration of their respective courses.

A total of 117 graduates from the PSOBC and the PSOAC are now prepared and equipped with the necessary knowledge in management and leadership for various levels of command staff function and duties, and in preparation for future positions as leaders of concerned bureaus.
