President Benigno S. Aquino III honored the 146 new graduates of the Officer Candidate School (OCD) to join the Philippine Army, Air Force and Navy at the Joint Graduation Ceremony of the Officer Candidate Courses.
In his speech, President Aquino reminded them that their job will not be easy as they will dodge bullets and face calamities to perform their duties to serve the Filipino people. The President also shared his optimism that the new graduates will foster change in transforming the country’s bureaucracy, eradicating corruption and laying down the foundations of ‘tuwid na daan’ as future military officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The Officer Candidate School is a military institution in Camp O’Donnell in Capas, Tarlac. The school trains civilians and enlisted personnel who are already degree holders as future officers of the AFP.
