President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presided the Joint Climate Change Commission (CCC) En Banc and Advisory Board Meeting held at the Aguinaldo State Dining Room in Malacañan Palace.

The agenda of the meeting included an overview of the measures done by the CCC.

President Duterte was joined in the event by Senator Loren Legarda, author of the Climate Change Act of 2009 or Republic Act (RA) 9729, together with the CCC Commissioners, Advisory Board members and some Cabinet secretaries.

The CCC is an independent policy-making body of the government that coordinates, monitors, and evaluates programs and action plans relative to climate change.
