Several members of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s official delegation held a joint cabinet presentation and press conference on ‘DuterteNomics’ before the opening plenary of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) 2017 at the Sokha Hotel.

This is the international debut of President Duterte’s economic and development blueprint for the Philippines that aims to transform the country into a high middle-income economy by 2022 through the BuildBuildBuild infrastructure program, main governance and fiscal policies, and upgraded social services targeted to accelerate growth.

Among the Cabinet members that discussed the presentation were Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar, Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Ernesto Pernia, Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar, Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, and Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez.
