Charge d’ Affaires ad interim Elizabeth Te currently manages the Philippine Embassy in Beijing, People’s Republic of China after the unfortunate health ailment that befell the current ambassador.

She started her career at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in 1997. Her first posting also started in Beijing as a political officer from 2002 to 2008.

From China, she was assigned to the Office of the United Nations and other International Organizations in the DFA, followed by her next foreign service posting in the Philippine Mission to the United nations in Geneva and the Philippine Embassy in Vienna, Austria, before going back to Beijing as Minister and Consul General.
