Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to the State of Israel

In view of the upcoming Official Visit of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the State of Israel, H.E. Nathaniel Imperial – Ambassador of the Philippines to Israel – talks on the country’s shared history with the State that stretches back to the 1930s through the open door policy of the former Philippine Commonwealth government and the support of the country for the United Nations (UN) partition plan in 1947.

According to the Philippine Ambassador, these two pivotal events in the history created tremendous amount of goodwill between the two nations, two governments, and two peoples.

Furthermore, Ambassador Imperial tackles the agreements in labor, science, and investment that are expected to be signed between the two countries during President Duterte’s Official Visit. He emphasizes that this trip seeks to transform the historic relationship and enduring friendship between the Philippines and Israel into a more vibrant and stronger partnership.
