As part of the government’s continuing efforts to restore essential services in war-torn communities, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the inspection of the newly established Marawi City General Hospital (MCGH) at Barangay Datu Naga in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.

The facility is the first hospital constructed in the City following the devastation of the 2017 Marawi siege. During his visit, the President walked through the hospital’s entire premises, closely examining the site plans and infrastructure.

The inspection underscored the Administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare systems in post-conflict zones. It also highlights the importance of ensuring immediate, quality and resilient medical services as a critical component of long-term recovery and community rehabilitation.
