President Benigno S. Aquino III inspected the Iloilo Convention Center (ICC) which is currently being constructed at Brgy. Old Airport in the District of Mandurriao in Iloilo City.

The 700 million-peso center is part of the development projects of the local government that aims to promote tourism not only in the city and in the province of Iloilo but in the whole Western Visayas and other Visayas provinces as well.

It is expected to generate 17,000 jobs for the Ilonggos.
