President Benigno S. Aquino III led the inauguration of the Graduate and Professional Schools Building of Andres Bonifacio College in Brgy. Miputak, Dipolog City during the tri-celebration of the 121st and 150th Birth Anniversaries of Mr. Amando Amatong, the school’s founder and Gat. Andres Bonifacio, as well as the Centennial Founding Anniversary of Dipolog City.

The President stated some of the development programs of his administration in Region 9 such as the continued infrastructure development. These include the improvement of the Dipolog City Airport starting 2013, the construction of Liloy-Siocon Road in 2012 and the ongoing structure of Zamboanga del Sur-Zamboanga del Norte Boundary Road or Sibuco Road. He reported the P1.5 billion increase of the DPWH budget in the region. He also cited the increased number of beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program in Zamboanga del Norte totalling to 84,520. He said that the expansion of 4Ps coverage is proof that he is living up to his promise of inclusive growth.

The Chief Executive challenged his audience mostly composed of youth that they must partake in the May polls if they want continued change and progress in the country.
