4ID Army Station Hospital, Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited several wounded soldiers staying at the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) Army Station Hospital in Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Brgy. Patag, Cagayan de Oro City.
PFC Ricky Jay Borja and PFC Richelly Sandigas, both wounded during a clash with the New People’s Army (NPA) on August 6, received from the President the Wounded Personnel Medal while Borja was also awarded the Gold Cross Medal for valor during a fight with about 80 NPA rebels on August 5 at Sitio Kambangon in Brgy. Lilingayon, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
The President checked on two hospital wards and talked to more than ten wounded soldiers. He also gave time to have his photograph taken with the patients, staff and guests at the hospital.
