President Rodrigo Roa Duterte affirmed the country’s commitment in improving and boosting the tourism industry as he graced the opening of the Acacia Hotel Davao in Lanang, Davao City.

In his remarks, President Duterte considered the opening as an ‘achievement’ in the development of projects in urban centers and tourist destinations in the Philippines. He acknowledged the efforts of Corporate Holdings Management Incorporated (CHMI) – the company behind the Acacia Hotel Davao – for its ‘efforts in showcasing the hospitality and warmth of Davaoeños, as well as highlighting the scenic landscapes of the city by providing a hub for exemplary guest accommodations and lodging.’

Likewise, the President highlighted the administration’s effective implementation of laws that centered in giving comfort to the business sector such as the Ease of Doing Business Act and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

According to the Chief Executive, his administration remains committed in enacting measures that shall provide a more conducive environment for business developments in the country.
