President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. received Her Excellency Laure Nicole Stephanie Beaufils, outgoing Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Philippines, during a farewell call at the Study Room in Malacañan Palace.

During their talk, the President conveyed his profound appreciation to the UK Ambassador for her dedicated service and steadfast commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

In response, Ambassador Beaufils expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to her throughout her posting, noting that her four (4)-year tenure in the Philippines had been guided by a constructive and forward-looking agenda.

She further highlighted the creativity, generosity and collaborative spirit of the Filipino people, which she considered integral to the success of the partnerships forged during her diplomatic mission.
