President Rodrigo Roa Duterte confers the Order of Sikatuna with the Rank of Grand Cross (Datu), Gold Distinction, to H.E. Kim Jae-Shin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to the Philippines, in a farewell call at the President’s Hall in Malacañan Palace on January 8, 2018.

The award is given to Ambassador Kim for his country’s timely assistance to the displaced victims in Marawi City, relevant aids, and efforts in bringing the people of the Philippines and ROK closer.

During the call, Ambassador Kim is joined by his spouse, Madame Lee Jongmin, ROK Embassy Minister-Counsellor Park Younghyo, and ROK Minister-Counsellor Kyun Jongho.

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Foreign Affairs (DFA)-Asia and Pacific Affairs (ASPAC) Assistant Secretary Millicent Cruz-Paredes, and Director Bolivar Bao accompany the President.
