President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administered the donning of ranks to three newly promoted military officials at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

Promoted to Lieutenant General was Major General Macairog Alberto, who assumed the post as the Commanding General of the Philippine Army (CGPA) last October 15, 2018.

Likewise, Major General Ronnie Evangelista was promoted to Lieutenant General while Brigadier General Erwin Bernard Neri was promoted to the rank of Major General.

The families of the newly promoted generals accompanied the officials during the ceremony.
