Dahil dito, masaya akong masaksihan ang patuloy na pag-unlad ng inyong lugar,” expressed President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. when he led the distribution of land titles and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (CocRoMs) in the Province of Davao del Norte.

In his speech, the President said that he is looking forward to his next visit to the Province, as he is set to inaugurate the Tagum City Bypass Road and the Island Garden City of Samal Circumferential Road, as well as open the Carmen-Tagum City Coastal Road. These infrastructure projects will help improve the traffic situation, speed up transportation as well as develop business, tourism and agriculture in the Davao Region.

Recognizing the innate talent of Davaoeños, he recalled the National Parol-Making Competition held by the Office of the President (OP) and Department of Education (DepEd), where the Panabo City National High School won second place.

During the event, the President distributed a total of 9,058 certificates to 6,951 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) across the Davao Region, resulting in a total debt condonation of PhP527,694,544. By the end of the year, the Administration aims to complete the distribution of a total of 11,559 CoCRoMs to 9,158 beneficiaries in the Region.

Likewise, 672 electronic titles (E-titles) were handed over to 465 ARBs from the Provinces of Davao del Norte and Davao del Sur that cover 467 hectares, as well as 144 Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) to 142 ARBs from Davao City covering 250 hectares.

He reaffirmed the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ vision that no farmer will be left behind, emphasizing that their efforts serve as an inspiration for the national government to continue improving its services to the nation.
