President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the distribution of aid under the ‘Ayuda Para sa Kapos ang Kita’ (AKAP) program, bringing relief to residents affected by Super Typhoon ‘Julian’ at the Metro Gabu Covered Court in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
The AKAP program was simultaneously rolled out in various parts of the Province. In Piddig, 2,000 residents received aid while beneficiaries in Pagudpud and Bangui numbered to 500 and 300 individuals, respectively.
During the event, the Chief Executive underscored his Administration’s commitment to swift recovery and rehabilitation for areas devastated by the Super Typhoon.
“We will continue to give assistance as long as it is needed. And then we will be providing cash assistance already na tig-sampung libo. When will we start? Oh, ano ngayon Biyernes?
President Marcos Jr. also assured the affected communities that government efforts continue, aiming to rebuild livelihoods and restore normalcy as quickly as possible.
