Heroes Hall, Malacañan Palace

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte hosted a dinner for the officials and members of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace.
In his speech, President Duterte asked for the broadcast media’s support in contributing a professional and responsible journalism that would help benefit Philippine society.
“As we create an environment for our people can enjoy their freedoms and cherish the gifts of democracy, I ask my friends in broadcast media to continue helping the government in stimulating public awareness on vital issues that touched the lives of ordinary Filipinos so that we can in turn, help one another in collectively improving their lot of life,” he said.
Present during the event were Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Secretary Christopher ‘Bong’ Go, KBP officers and members, and other government officials.
