President Rodrigo Roa Duterte joined the men and women of the Our Lady of Victory Training Center, Inc. (OLVTC) in a dinner at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace.
The President spoke during the dinner and expressed his assurance of a good and honest administration to the guests.
The OLVTC Choir then serenaded the President and his guests with renditions of pop songs such as ‘You Raise Me Up,’ popularized by the American singer Josh Groban.
After the performance, President Duterte conferred the Order of the Golden Heart to Sister Cecilia Wood of the OLVTC and granted financial assistance to the rehabilitation center from the Office of the President.
The OLVTC is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that commits itself to value-based rehabilitating programs primarily for orthopedic clients and is focused on the promotion of Christian values, human rights and character building.
